Architecture Student

Moving from Frankfurt, Germany's low key financial centre, to the bustling and ethnically diverse metropolis of London in the mid 2000s, Sophia gained first hand insight into the cultural and social interactions that give each city its unique characteristics. Cities are complex systems that are constantly evolving and becoming more unpredictable in a globalised world where they are increasingly the engines of growth and innovation but also breeding grounds of poverty and deep inequality. Sophia intends to use the disciplines of Architectural design and of personal experience to create urban spaces that help deliver social justice and defend diversity.
