I am to achieve a sense of continuity when one takes a journey from the Public Hall, a building that dates back to the 1870’s to the new build, a modern day brewery. Although I am combining the old and new together, it is still necessary to respect the hall as it is of cultural and historical importance. Rather than clashing the new build with the hall, I aim to create a subtle bond between the two buildings that values and respects the hall and its victorian features.
